Released in late 2017, WWE 2K18 marked a major milestone as the first WWE game on a Nintendo platform in over five years, and the first portable WWE game in six. The Switch port, handled by developer Blind Squirrel, aimed to bring the full console experience on the go, featuring the series' largest roster at launch, the new "Road to Glory" online mode, an immersive MyCareer, and deep creation tools.
